Video: Rescuing a Stranded Pit Bull Struggling to Survive

Here’s another wonderful rescue video from Eldad Hagar of Hope for Paws rescue in Los Angeles. Bunny is a beautiful Pit Bull who was abandoned in a remote area in the desert and left to fend for herself. Based on her condition, she was finding it difficult, but a good Samaritan started feeding her. Unfortunately, the woman couldn’t catch the dog, so she called in Hagar and his friends, Lisa and Linda. Hagar writes:

Dogs with cropped ears are hard to read, and I had to be cautious and use a method I don’t usually use. After the rescue was over, we got Bunny to the hospital where she got really sick, and she almost died. This tough girl was fighting hard because she was not ready to give up on the good life we promised her.

We hope that Bunny finds a wonderful forever home to make up for the mistreatment she suffered.

  1. I will never understand the cruelty people are capable of. If you have the time to drive her out to the desert simply because you no longer want her then you certainly are able to take the time to bring her to a shelter. It is so frustrating!

  2. What a heart wrenching video. Thank you for all you do to rescue these wonderful animals. May God continue to bless your efforts.
