We have posted many times about how breed-specific legislation represents a misunderstanding about dog behavior, and the State of North Dakota has taken a big step to righting the wrongs of BSL. On July 1, South Dakota’s ban on breed specific legislation went into effect, leading citizens to call it Dog Breed Independence Day.
