All of us have probably experienced a dog who simply won’t stop pulling at the end of its leash. Some dogs even seem willing to choke themselves and make horrible gasping noises as they pull. It can be an unsettling experience. Here’s an interesting video from dog trainer Doggy Dan, who believes in a gentle style of training. I like the simplicity of this method, and I never thought to put the leash on the dog’s chest. What do you think?

Does it matter what kind of breed of dog, because I have a Blue Tic Hound? She also is only 18 months old, and this type of breed sniffs out scents so her nose is to the ground. Do I stop her like this video?
