We have posted many times about the intense bond that can form between a military dog and his handler. Lance Cpl. David Pond and his military working dog, Pablo, served together in Afghanistan, but when Pond returned home, the Belgian Malinois was reassigned to serve on a base in Georgia. As Pond struggled with PTSD, he missed Pablo terribly, so he began working to adopt the dog when his service ended. This week, the pair were finally reunited on Pablo’s retirement day. . .
