A dog bed is more than just a comfortable place for your best friend to sleep. It’s an important place of refuge, a place to recover after activity, and a training tool. Every dog needs a “den,” where they can get away from life’s stresses and just relax. To show how much we treasure our pups and want to them to have the best in life, today we are launching the “I Love My Dog Bed” Photo Contest, which will run the whole month of November.
Here’s how it works:
1. Take a photo of your dog(s) on a dog bed. They can be doing anything from sleeping to playing, and it doesn’t have to be an Orvis dog bed.
2. Post your photos to the Orvis Facebook page or on Instagram, along with the dog’s name, hometown, and a few sentences (100 words or less) about what a dog bed means to your dog and you. Make sure you include the hashtags #OrvisDogs and #WhyADogBed. (Only photos using both hashtags will be eligible!) Here’s an example:
You can enter as many photos as you’d like. At the end of the month, we’ll go through all the photos posted and pick 10 finalists. Then we’ll let you vote for the winners!
If you want another chance to have your photo featured and to win some other cool prizes, consider entering your photo in our Cover Dog contest, too!
Here are the prizes:
First Place: A $500 Orvis Gift Card
Second Place: An Orvis ComfortFill-Eco™ Couch Dog Bed of your choice.
Third Place: A Tough Trail Chuckwagon Dog Tote (filled with toys & treats)
We’ll also give away one personalized Tough Trail™ Dog Collar to a randomly selected voter at the end of the contest.
Click here for the full contest rules and conditions.
The contest is open only to legal residents of the USA who are 18 or older. (We apologize to our readers in Canada and overseas; Click here for an explanation of why we have to do this.)
