The end of September always comes too soon, now that I devote so much of the month to time on the water. Good weather was a boon for those of us in the Northeast, and I managed to get out on twenty-four of the thirty days. The highlight was finishing the month in far northern Maine, at Libby Camps, where I caught some beautiful landlocked salmon and brook trout.
You can see some of my favorite images and fish above, but none of my photos is good enough to match the ten finalists in our “20 Days in September” Photo Contest. Now all that’s left for you to do is go vote for the winners!
