2012 Fly-Fishing Consumer Show Schedule

Once the holidays are over, it will be time to think about which fly-fishing consumer shows you want to attend. As it has for the last few years, show season kicks off with dueling Denver shows. January is jam-packed with events, from Atlanta to Calgary, and pretty much every region of the country is represented, bar the Mid-South. The newest show is in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

So find the show nearest you (or the big one you’re willing to travel to) and mark your calendar. Spending two or three days checking out new products, fondling tying materials, or watching one of your heroes on the casting pond is a great way to beat the midwinter blues. If you’ve never been to one of these events, check out the video above, which captures the experience of the Somerset, New Jersey show and even offers a bit of Lefty’s presentation.
