The Social Media Manager position offers the right person the unique opportunity to forge the social-media strategy for one of America’s leading lifestyle brands. The Orvis Company has invested over 150 years in building a reputation as an authentic, customer-focused brand dedicated to providing products that are absolutely right combined with the highest quality customer service. The growth in the importance of social media to our customer base represents a tremendous opportunity to engage with Orvis customers in new ways and for them to share their Orvis experiences with their friends.
The person in this position will be responsible for the social-media strategy of Orvis in the US and UK. Better yet, check out this goody from the long list of duties: “Work closely with the Editor of orvisnews.com to coordinate relevant content for all social media-channels and the blogs.” C’mon, who wouldn’t love to come in every day for that? (Wait. . .don’t answer that.)
