We dig the style of English graphic designer and fanatical angler Steve Edge. Back in February, we featured a video of his attempt to hook and land a Ferrari in the narrow streets of London. Now he offers really good advice on how to remove a hook that’s been buried in someone’s skin. This is a skill that every angler should possess because it can save both the patient and the angling day.
Good video.
Have seen this tip before, but like the large scale of his props.
Also, the tip of the heavy string is new to me.
Lastly, the guy has flair – I like it.

If you haven’t gotten the gist, I’d really like a new pair of waders.
Hmm… If only I could think of a place to get some.
Having used this method in the wilderness of Canada on a hook that was firmly buried in the meat of the hand, the only change I’d make is instead of string I keep a length of fly-line, your choice of weight I find Bankshot sink tip the best, on hand for this emergency.
