Welcome to another edition of our weekly trivia challenge, where we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing. It seems like last week’s quiz flummoxed quite a few of you. Most folks knew the quote from A River Runs Through It (85%) and what the serpentine cast is for (69%), but the definition of “thalweg” (26%) and the Davy Knot (23%) were tough answers to come by.
The randomly chosen winner of this week’s quiz will receive a signed copy of Tom’s NEW book The Orvis Guide to Family Friendly Fly Fishing. This is a great book for anyone who wants to teach their kids (or other people’s kids) or wives how to enjoy our wonderful sport.
