For many offices, a “team building” exercise involves getting everyone over a wall on the obstacle course or playing Capture the Flag. The guys in Orvis Rod & Tackle have a more fun option: they head to western Pennsylvania to “slay the steel” on tributaries of Lake Erie. Here’s a quick iPhone video of Steve Hemkens hooking, almost landing, then actually landing a steelhead. The coolest part is watching how the fish just materializes out of the dark hole in the riverbottom when Steve sets the hook. Watch this at full-screen for the best effect, since the iPhone aspect ratio makes the video smaller on YouTube.
