Farquhar Bonefish 2012 from FlyCastaway on Vimeo.
Farquhar Atoll is the most southerly atoll in the Seychelles chain of islands. It’s a world renowned giant-trevally fishing destination, but according to these videographers, “over the last few seasons the bonefish have made a name for themselves. Single and double fish scuffling the flats with many reaching the 8lbs+ mark. These honest fish will not hesitate to eat your fly and quickly have you well into your backing.”
Looks like a good time, and as autumn breezes start to blow away signs of summer here in the North, an angler’s mind does turn to the tropics. . .
