Classic Video: Trout Unchained—the truth told


It’s always great to run across a video in which the filmmaker went out of his way to create something different. In this video shot on the gorgeous rivers of New Zealand, Norwegian André Pedersen focus not on trophy shots and high-fives, but on the other end of an angler’s emotional spectrum: “Agony, despair and suffering—nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.” We’ve all been there, and the soundtrack choice was a stroke of genius.
