Since there have been so many great comments about Todd Moen’s Fall Run, which is currently the featured video on The Tug, I wanted to remind you of one of Moen’s previous productions. It’s a wonderful two-part film about steelhead guide Hannah Belford and her incredible mother, Alice, who was one of the first women to hold a guide’s license in British Columbia. Hannah’s story, growing up in the wilderness with parents who ran an outfitting business, is inspiring, as are the scenery, rivers, and gorgeous fish.

I’ve been in love with fishing for 65 years, now I’m in love with a guide. Great stuff!
This is one of the most awesome and inspiring videos I have ever seen. This is a must see video for any fly fisherman or outdoorsman. She puts us all to shame!
Great to see this wonderful film again! Thanks.
