Welcome to another edition of our trivia challenge, where we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we feature a couple of special prizes, suggested by the photo of Tom with an armful of hare’s feet we posted yesterday. (See below for the details.) The scores on last week’s quiz were pretty middling, with just two scores of 100%s (well done, mike and jtrammell72!). This week’s edition doesn’t seem as hard, but we’ll let your scores be the judge of that.
The randomly chosen winner of this quiz will receive a signed copy of Tom’s book The Orvis Guide to the Essential American Flies, plus a hare’s foot from Tom’s personal stash and a Rosenbauer’s Rabbit’s-Foot emerger tied by Tom himself. How can you beat that? Last week’s book winner was Ron Higgins, who scored an 80% and got the prize. Quite a good week for old Ron.
