I’d never heard the term “peeler” before watching Roy Wheeldon’s latest video, but once he says it, you know exactly what it means. This is one of the best self-shot cast-hook-fight-and-land videos I’ve seen, mostly because it’s judiciously edited. No need to see every second of the fish bulldogging, right? And as the filmmaker says, “A steelhead’s first run is often his best.”
