Friday Fly-Fishing Film Festival 01.13.23: Friggatriskaidekaphobia Edition!

Welcome to the the first of two Friday the 13th editions of the Orvis News Friday Fly-Fishing Film Festival in 2023! (Watch out for that guy on the marquee.) Each week, we scour the Web for the best fly-fishing videos available and then serve them up for you to enjoy. This week, we feature 12 gorgeous films with some killer fishing action, as well as some important messages about why we love this sport and what we can do to help preserve it. From the Maryland backcountry to central Texas, and from northern Sweden to a remote reef in the Gulf of Mexico, these stories will take you to miraculous waters.

Several of these are quite long, but I guarantee that they are worth your time on a chilly winter weekend. For best results, watch all videos at full-screen and in high definition. Remember, we surf so you don’t have to. But if you do stumble upon something great that you think is worthy of inclusion in a future F5, please post it in the comments below, and we’ll take a look.
