The Perfection Loop is an essential fly-fishing knot. It’s usually used to add a loop to a leader, but the technique makes it another tool in your arsenal.
People trust the Perfection loop. It’s been shown to be a reliable knot over the years, but using it to attach a fly is tricky. In this video, master knot-tier Pete Kutzer shows you how to tie strong, secure loops to add a fly to a heavy shock tippet, and, per usual, Pete makes it look it easy.
