Meet the Winner of Our Helios 2 Sweepstakes

Last month, we launched a sweepstakes to give away a Helios 2 fly rod, and our winner was Andy Wilson of Lacy Washington. Here’s what Andy has to say about himself:

Fifteen years ago, when I was living in Japan, a friend introduced me to fly fishing. Since then, I’ve never fished with a spin-casting outfit. Until recently, I fished exclusively for trout in small streams and lakes, but then I broke into saltwater fly fishing. I had a great time last April in Cancun going after tarpon on the flats and in the mangroves near Isla Blanca. I live and work overseas, and don’t get to fish as often as I would like, but I fully intend to pick up the pace with my new gear. Later this summer, I plan to fish for steelhead in Washington state, where I’ll be using a recently purchased 6-weight Helios 2..

Thank you for providing the best fly rod on the market. With my new 10-weight, I will be the proud owner of three Helios 2 fly rods.
