Meet the Winner of Our Tax-Day Helios 2 Sweepstakes

Our Tax Day Sweepstakes received more than 10,000 entries, but at the end of the day, only one could be the winner. Our randomly selected recipient of a Helios 2 fly rod is Chris Joseph of Houston, Texas. He chose a 9-foot, 5-weight Helios 2 with Midflex action, for use on his frequent trips to the Colorado Rockies. (See below.) We asked Chris to tell us a bit about his fishing life, and here is what he shared:

I grew up fishing the lakes and rivers around Texas. My love for fly fishing developed when when my brother moved to Colorado eight years ago, and I started making trips up there to visit him. Ever since, I seem to be making more and more trips to visit my brother and fish!

He caught the fish pictured here this winter, and he credits the Trout Unlimited stocking program for the opportunity.
