A new issue of Southern Culture on the Fly hit the digital newsstand yesterday, and before we proceed to talk about all the great articles and photos inside, I must take a moment to point out a vicious slander. In a story about his visit to Orvis headquarters in Vermont, editor David Grossman makes an unseemly assertion about my mental state. My reply? As a wise man once said, “You come at the king? You best not miss.”
