A bunch of the Orvis crew will be in Denver from January 4-7, and they’d love to say “Hi.” This Thursday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m., the Orvis Park Meadows store will be offering free beer from Oskar Blues and light snacks . Tom Rosenbauer will be doing a presentation on small-stream trout fishing and will be on hand to sign books. (You can buy them that night or bring them from your collection.) Casting guru Pete Kutzer will be there to help with your casting problems, weather permitting. Jeremy Kehrein and Seth Berger from Orvis Travel can answer your questions about international fishing trips. Product developer Jesse Haller will be on hand to talk about flies, fly materials, and tightline nymphing techniques. And Amanda Silverman can fill you in on the new Orvis 50/50 on the Water Campaign, aimed at bringing more women into the sport.
And did we mention the free beer?
