Product Designer – Fish/ Hunt
The Fly Fishing and Wingshooting Product Development team is seeking a Product Designer responsible for the development of key Orvis branded products within the fly fishing and wingshooting sub categories of Technical Apparel – Fish/Hunt. We are looking for an individual with product design and development experience and a passion to develop great products that solve problems by driving innovation, quality and performance. This individual will have background and experience in the outdoor market, with a keen interest in wingshooting and fly fishing..

Financial Analyst
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team and support our 70+ store retail channel and 500+ independent dealers.  This is a key position within the Finance department and will have significant exposure to key executives within the organization.  The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess strong technical expertise, have the ability and desire to work collaboratively, and bring an excitement to work for a purpose-driven outdoor brand. This is a great opportunity for a business minded professional with a thirst for growth and desire for success; someone who is looking to combine their at-work skill set with their out-of-work passions.

Multi-Channel Analyst – Pet, Home, Gift Merchandising 
The Multi-Channel Analyst is responsible for supporting the Pet, Home and Gift merchandising teams in the development and delivery of business intelligence.  Responsibilities include: developing management, merchandising and marketing reports and analyzing merchandise and customer data to support planning decisions. This includes analyzing the catalog, web and retail merchandise, documenting findings, and developing recommendations that align with the 3-year strategy.

Retail Fishing Manager – Birmingham, AL; Carmel, IN; Cincinatti, OH; and Richmond, VA.
The Orvis Retail Fishing Manager is a retail professional role model in attitude and appearance who drives sales and profit growth by providing a world-class shopping experience to all Orvis customers.  The Fishing Manager assists the Store Manager in all management duties of the retail store, is responsible for the daily operations of the fly-fishing department, and demonstrates excellent business acumen including visual merchandising, sales analysis, and success in selling fishing, outdoor and the wider range of Orvis products.

  1. I am sitting here all warm in my Orvis wool pull-over (had it years, don’t remember the technical name for it). Thought that a job at Orvis sounded fine. Turns out you are looking for skills and experience and stuff and a probable need to relocate from the left coast to VT.
    I have decided due to my lack of aforementioned items and having no desire to tow a trailer of stuff that far, that I shall just continue to be a customer and stay warm and dry and comfy. I hope that is OK with you as well. If my skills change and I have less stuff to pack I will get back with you.
