Rod & Tackle Product Developer—Waders, Wading Footwear, Outerwear, & Vest/Packs
The Rod & Tackle team is seeking a Product Developer responsible for the development, growth, and profit of key Orvis fly-fishing sub categories of Waders, Wading Footwear, Outerwear and Vests/Packs. We are looking for an individual with project management, design and development experience and a passion to develop great products that solve problems by driving innovation, quality and performance. This individual will have background and experience in the outdoor market, with a keen interest in fly fishing. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-managed, and have the ability to work collaboratively to accomplish goals. At Orvis, we do not sell what we, ourselves, would not be proud to own or give as a gift. Our Associates deserve to be proud of our service and our products, and we rely on each and every associate to apply our “pride of ownership” credo to drive our product quality and innovation.

Communications Director
The Communications Director will lead a team of writers to further establish the unique Orvis brand voice—written, recorded, or spoken word. This brand voice runs across all marketing communications, including e-commerce, catalog, retail marketing, collateral, blogs, and social. The successful candidate will be an editor, creative thinker and brand strategist. They must have the ability to passionately articulate the Orvis brand and personality. Proven editing, writing, and leadership skills in a team environment are paramount.

Senior Graphic Designer
We are seeking a Senior Designer to join our Creative Services department and contribute to our award winning multichannel creative teams. This position is responsible for the overall design and execution of the direct-to-consumer creative projects for the Women’s, Gift, Home, Dog, and Sale categories.

Digital Marketing Program Specialist
The Digital Marketing Program Specialist is responsible for supporting digital marketing efforts for both US and UK programs. Responsibilities include coordination of a Digital Marketing Schedule that informs email, paid, content and social communications as well as reporting and accounting to support the entire Digital Marketing Team. This individual will also work collaborate directly with the Email Marketing Manager to develop and support triggered email marketing campaigns and US/UK email program reporting. In addition, the right candidate has the potential to expand the scope of this role to develop marketing programs.

Digital User Experience Specialist
The Digital User Experience Specialist will be responsible for design and development of effective and engaging user experiences (UX) for Orvis ecommerce. The ideal candidate is one who thrives in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills; adept at utilizing data to inform direction; great collaborator; familiarity with agile development methodology; keen prototyping skills; and thorough understanding of industry standards for user-centered design methodologies.

Retail Store Manager in Three Locations (Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; and Charlottesville, VA)
The Orvis Retail Store Manager is the business and cultural leader of the store team, responsible for achieving sales goals, customer satisfaction, and profitability growth as well as understanding, practicing, and being a strong proponent of the Orvis brand and the company culture.  The Store Manager is a retail professional role model in attitude and appearance skilled in the art of communication and customer service, who has the ability to teach these skills to the team and ultimately lead by example.

Each of our retail stores is unique, and the successful Store Manager must be able to understand and tailor the Orvis brand presentation to the space and floor plan of the individual store using demonstrated talent in visual presentation of merchandise.

    We’re looking for solid a tenant, who loves nature, views, four wheeling and quiet. You guys go by our house, on Dorset Hill Rd quite often, so I think this may be a perfect fit for your new employees.
