National Sales Manager – Scientific Anglers
The National Sales Manager for Scientific Anglers is responsible for the sales, gross margin, strategic direction, and growth of US independent dealer, domestic distributors, pro guide and national account sales channels. This Sales Manager will develop and deliver disciplined sales reporting, strategically evaluate markets, and create the strategies and tactics to achieve agreed upon revenue and contribution goals. This individual will review the competitive landscape, make decisions to maximize distribution, and maintain a solid relationship and understanding with each of their accounts and distribution base.
IT Systems Engineer
The Systems Engineer will design, implement, maintain and support business systems and technical solutions to improve company work-flow, production, efficiency and effectiveness. This may include server, desktop, laptop, mobile, network and application solutions. These responsibilities involve analyzing business needs and opportunities, developing and executing system enhancements and new technology installations as well as providing technical support and training.
Operations Manager – Firehole Ranch
The Operations Manager is a member of the senior management team at the Ranch. The team consists of the Owner, Operations Manager and the Guest Services/ Marketing Manager. The Operations Manager position is demanding and involves a wide array of interpersonal and management skills. Most important is the Operations Manager’s attention to detail, development of lasting relationship with guests and his/her ability to hire, train, motivate and successfully manage staff.
Retail Fishing Manager (The Woodlands, TX; Huntsville, AL; Austin, TX; and Jackson, MS)
The Orvis Retail Fishing Manager is a retail professional role model in attitude and appearance who drives sales and profit growth by providing a world-class shopping experience to all Orvis customers. The Fishing Manager assists the Store Manager in all management duties of the retail store, is responsible for the daily operations of the fly-fishing department, and demonstrates excellent business acumen including visual merchandising, sales analysis, and success in selling fishing, outdoor and the wider range of Orvis products.
Each of our retail stores is unique, and the successful Store Manager must be able to understand and tailor the Orvis brand presentation to the space and floor plan of the individual store using demonstrated talent in visual presentation of merchandise.
