Take the Phil Monahan Fly-Fishing Trivia Challenge 05.02.13

Welcome to another edition of our trivia challenge, where we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, it’s all about the names of famous fly patterns—for trout, warmwater species, salmon, and saltwater species.

The scores on last week’s Trivia Challenge kind of fell off a cliff, but there were still two 100%s (congratulations, Joseph Egry and Michael Martinak!) and a few other high scores.

The randomly chosen winner of this week’s quiz will receive a signed copy of Tom’s book The Orvis Guide to Family Friendly Fly Fishing. This is a great book for anyone who wants to teach their kids (or other people’s kids) or wives how to enjoy our wonderful sport. Last week’s book winner was Doug G, who scored half a perfect 100%.

So, take this week’s quiz, and no matter how well or poorly you do, post your score in the comments below to be eligible to win Tom’s book with his inspirational words on the title page.

Good luck!
