Guide Todd Everts of PRO Outfitters has been guiding on the Missouri for a quarter century, so he knows a thing or two about what the trout like to eat. In spring, that’s often streamers. . .big ones. Of course, on any given day, the ticket could be a size 22 Pheasant Tail instead. That’s why we love fly fishing.

  1. What weight fly rod is he using?
I know this is heresy to some, but with flies that big, might it make more sense just to use a Rapala?
