Orvis product designers Tim Daughton (left) and Shawn Combs came by sporting their new carp lids. The one on the left will be available on orvis.com in a couple of weeks, while the more garish version covering Shawn’s dome is the brainchild of Orvis Cleveland Fishing Manager Jim Lampros, who can be seen rocking a chartreuse version on his blog, Dudewater, where you can also order your own, PLUS a sweet matching beer koozie.

Cool hats – the yellow/orange will be great for the carp. They’ll see you a mile away!
I like the one on the left but I would not wear the orange one if you gave it away for free, unless it was attached to a new fly rod.
Great hats, Carp getting some love!
That’s an awesome twist on the Orvis trout logo
Ill take either one. Thank you for your kindness.
Do you have any more of the carp hats? I really need one (not the orange one) so I can catch more carp in the river by my house. I really feel like it would give me more confidence and that extra boost to keep fishing when I’m struggling.i called customer service, no luck. Do you have one under thr seat in your truck or maybe balled up in an old backpack. No sweat if it used and has salt lines (pun intended.) Just let me know if you have one I can have. I can trade you something for it or if necessary split firewood or something of the like. Thanks dude. -JP.
