Curtis Luster already looks the part, though he’s been fly fishing only a few months.

Curtis Luster began shopping our store shortly after we opened. Though he was a big spin fisherman, Curtis knew little about fly fishing. He participated in a Fly Tying 101 class during the winter and signed up for our first sessions of Fly Fishing 101 and 201. Needless to say, he is hooked. Here’s a nice Lake Ontario smallmouth he caught while swinging flies on Sandy Creek last month.
Always good to see a convert! I think switching over from spin fishing definitely cuts the learning curve a little as compared to having no prior experience fishing.
Congrats on getting into fly fishing and that is a sweet Smallie…….let the addiction begin!!!!
Awesome story!
It is nice to see people out fishing, regardless what gear they use.
Love it! The more people we have participating in fly rodding the better for the sport IMO.., Nice bass too!
Welcome to the family!
Nice catch Curtis! Many more to come
