That’s the kind of bonefish that can make an angler go weak at the knees.

Last week, Jim Easterling of Houston, Texas, was fishing at Deep Water Cay in the Bahamas when he landed the bonefish of a lifetime, weighing in at 14.6 pounds. His guide, Meko, says Jim’s fish is the largest bonefish he’s seen caught on a fly in his 18 years on the flats.”impressive” doesn’t even come close to describing this magnificent fish.
GOOD LORD! What a monster!!
Great teamwork guys!!

THAT is a bonefish!
Except for the fact this fish was handled by both the angler and the guide.

How long do you think this fish was air exposed to get the two photos taken from opposite ends of the boat? I would guess way too long.
Amazing fish! What fly did he eat?
