Doctor Sherman didn’t even take the time to change out of his work clothes before boating this fat striped bass.

Orvis fan Dr. Mark Sherman sent in this great photo last night, along with the story behind it:
I caught this bass off Sandy Hook, New Jersey, at dusk. With Capt. Joe Maz at the helm, I was fishing a Helios 2 8-weight, a Mirage reel, and a Captain Maz Bunker Fly. It was a 15-minute battle, and the striper’s released weight was 50 pounds.
Doctor Sherman is an orthopedic surgeon on Staten Island, and he was still in his work clothes—with his Michael Kors tie still on, albeit loosened.
He is a cool guy. Used to give talks with his brother and father at our ASWF meetings.
