Bonefish were just part of the attraction of Alphonse Island, but there were plenty of them.

Lithuanian filmmaker Vaidas Uselis and his partner, Nerijus Rupciauskas—collectively known as Black Fly Eyes—just got back from another big adventure, this time to Alphonse Island in the Seychelles. The purpose of the trip was to shoot a film—which I can’t wait to see—but they also sent along some great photos, along with a brief trip report:
After one week of insane fishing and filming with Alphonse Fishing Company crew and “screaming gear” from The Orvis Company, we are having a hard time coming back to reality. What an epic adventure it was! We had never fished the flats before, but our guides had us doing things in the right way pretty fast! Fantastic fishing with incredible-looking fish and breathtaking views. Here are some photos from this awesome trip. Stay tuned for coming up more shortly.
