Photos of the Day: Conway’s Christmas Vacation

When we last saw “Fly Fishing the World” host Conway Bowman, he was landing a giant sailfish in Guatemala. In today’s set of photos, the poor man has had to travel all the way to Christmas Island (Kirabati), just to catch these gorgeous fish—a fine bonefish and a giant trevally. Just for good measure, the show’s producer, Justin Karnopp got in on the action, as well. Why do these stunning tropical photos always appear in my email just as a winter storm takes aim on Vermont?
