A buddy and I recently christened the most unlikely of boats here in Ohio. I fell in love with bonefishing in Belize, and haven’t found a cure for the bug since. In hopes of getting that same flats-style goodness closer to home, I built out a 1979 Gheenoe as a flats skiff to stalk carp in several of the flats I fish. Ridiculousness has followed ever since.
The Gheenoe offers a great casting platform for sight-fishing.

Whereabouts in Ohio? I’m up there. Always looking for something new. I have a 10′ flat bottom I got at a sale and am setting up similar style.
