Orvis Fly Fishing School‘s Dylan Snell landed this beauty during the 2014 Ditch Pickle Classic on Lake Champlain.

Peter Kutzer was clearly cleaning out his emails this morning, as he sent over these two great photos from last Summer’s 2014 Ditch Pickle Classic on Vermont’s Lake Champlain. As you can see, Dylan Snell landed a really nice fish, but he wasn’t able to get on the winner’s podium. Strangely enough, however, Reed Kennedy’s monster smallmouth, below, did score a prize. Such is the nature of this fun tournament. The 2015 event will take place on June 27 & 28.

Orvis Rod & Tackle’s Reed Kennedy took top honors in the smallest bass category with this trophy 3-incher.

I love the inverse relationship b/t man & fish. D – way to out fish the big man that day! I’m ‘in’ on the boat next year!!
now that is a cool honor- smallest fish
Both are good looking fish, you have to appreciate a tournament with some humor. The smallest fish category in a tourney always lightens the mood, which is a good factor in helping remind people that we are doing this for fun.
