Ever since I moved up to Montana a few years ago, I have teased my dad, Steve, with lots of pictures of big wild rainbows and browns. He taught me to fly-fish growing up, but recently the tables have turned and I have become the one doing most of the teaching—helping to improve his casting, rigging, and presentation to the fish. Steve recently got the opportunity to experience the fly fishing in southwestern Montana for the first time, spending time on the Gallatin, Madison, and Yellowstone Rivers. You can probably tell by the big smiles, but he was not disappointed.
