This week, we travel to the Low Country to interview Capt. Tuck Scott of Bay Street Outfitters , who is a master at finding redfish along the South Carolina coast. In addition, historic Beaufort sounds like an amazing place for a family vacation, so you might think of it as a destination where fishing is only part of the plan. Tuck gives us plenty of intelligence on finding and catching redfish in the Low Country, and also some special redfish tips that will work anywhere.
In the Fly Box, we talk about missed fish on downstream wet flies, fish chasing streamers but not connecting, organizing fly-tying materials, the benefits of hiring a guide, and tips for fishing scuds on spring creeks.

Tom, my $.02:
The flybox part of the podcast is too long and too redundant. A lot of the questions are covered in other podcasts, i.e. “fish won’t take the fly, why?” “what fly should I use in X situation?”
I really enjoy the interviews and your insights on fishing topics. I wouldn’t mind more of that and less rambling listener questions. Again, just my opinion.
Thanks, Josh, sometimes I get the same questions so often I think it’s worth the repetition. Also I don’t remember every question I have answered in the past. But I will try to look for more original Fly Box questions.
Thanks to my father who stated to me about this webpage, this weblog is really remarkable.
