Welcome to another edition of our trivia challenge, where we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we’ve got a classic quiz that features questions on such various topics as famous rivers, big bugs, and unethical angling practices.
The performance on the last quiz was all over the map. On the one hand, there were more perfect scores than the week before, but on the other, the most common score fell to a dismal 30%. The number of people who scored 100% is either three or five. Three people posted straight-up “100%”: Tim S, Sage 9084, and Steve. Two others, Pete Hawes and Mike, claimed they scored 100% “with help.” I’m not sure what that means. Is it help from a friend or from Uncle Google? I’m going to establish a rule that help is fine, as long as you cop to it when you post your score. We are all about education, after all.
For the next few weeks, we will have two (2!) randomly chosen prize winners per week, thanks to Beattie Outdoor Productions. One winner will receive a copy of Fishtails—the latest compilation DVD, containing all of the films from the last 4 years of filming—and the other will get Carpland, a documentary-style adventure film about the history of carp in the United States.
Our last winners (as determined by random.org)—who will receive one of the DVDs above—were Tela and David Stone, who coincidentally got the same score.
So post your score below for a chance at winning a great casting book.
