Take a Classic Phil Monahan Fly-Fishing Trivia Challenge 10.17.13

Welcome to another edition of our trivia challenge, where we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This one’s a classic, as I’m out of the office today, so I expect a plethora of perfect scores when I count them up next week.

The last quiz represented a serious comeback, as there were ten legitimate 100% scores. (After just one the previous week.) Congrats to Daniel, Brandon Kalpin, Clive, Jeramy Bourdeau, Adam, Mitch, Curtis Collins, Harold, Stephen Nagy, and August.

This week’s quiz features 10 questions about everything from fish anatomy to Great Lakes fisheries history.

The randomly chosen winner of this week’s quiz will receive a signed copy of Tom’s book The Orvis Guide to Prospecting for Trout. This is the book you need for those times when there is no specific hatch on. Last week’s book winner (as determined by random.org) was Seth, whose score was low but whose reward was high.

So, take this week’s quiz, and no matter how well or poorly you do, post your score in the comments below to be eligible to win Tom’s book with his inspirational words on the title page.

Good luck!
