Welcome to another edition of our weekly trivia challenge, in which we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we’ve got ten new questions to make you scratch your head. All I can say is that you should read the questions carefully.
Scores on the last quiz represented a huge improvement over the week before, with eight people achieved perfect scores. Ironic finger-snaps for francisco, Hunter Spiri, JOHN, markreno, Shoo-Fly, David, Winston, and Clint Brumitt. An astonishing twenty-one people scored 90%, and the most common score jumped up ever so slightly again to 60%. Nice work, folks!
The winner of this week’s random drawing will receive a copy of Chico Fernandez’s great book Fly Fishing for Bonefish, from Stackpole Books. The book covers finding bonefish from a skiff and while wading, as well as catch-and-release. Details on the bonefish’s environment and its food provide the essential background, and you’ll learn what tackle and flies to take and how to cast efficiently in the flats.
