Take a Classic Phil Monahan Fly-Fishing Trivia Challenge 10.29.15

Welcome to another edition of our weekly (sorta) trivia challenge, where we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, it’s another classic ten questions that will tickle the ol’ gray matter on subjects as diverse as trout anatomy, fly names, and geography. . . .

On the last quiz, there were just two perfect scores: all hail Stephen and Chris S. However, there were twelve  folks who scored 90%, which is pretty darned good.

The randomly chosen winner for this quiz will receive a copy of the great book from our own Tom Rosenbauer, The Orvis Guide to Family-Friendly Fly Fishing.

Our last winner was Everett, who was one of those oh-so-close 90% folks.

So post your score below for a chance at winning Tom’s book. . .signed by the man hisself.

Good luck!

  1. 100%
    HOLY WAH!!
only because of my Michigan roots and paying attention to decades of Fly Rod & Reel magazines.
    AWESOME!
    Tight Lines,
    Koz

  2. not to bad this week with an 80%, if only i did that well on all my mid terms, but stupid fishing kept getting in the way!

  3. I did not do so well, good thing Phil’s job does not depend on me scoring 50%. You know, no fisherman left behind!
