Take a Classic Phil Monahan Fly-Fishing Trivia Challenge 11.06.19

Welcome to another edition of our weekly trivia challenge, in which we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we’ve got ten classic questions about such topics as famous rivers, entomology, angling books, and more.

The last quiz was clearly terrifyingly difficult, as there were no perfect scores. (One person got 100%, but he admitted to using Google.) However, five quiz-takers missed just a single question, so let’s have a round of applause for Ricky L Summers, Alan Burrows, Pete H., Mark Greer, and Roger. The most common score was 50%.

The winner of this week’s random drawing will receive a copy of “The Tributary Series” DVD, a compilation containing “Yow: Icelandic for Yes!,” “Tributaries,” and “Breathe.” From Atlantic salmon in Iceland to bonefish in the Bahamas, the films on this DVD have inspired crowds of fly anglers the world over.

The winner of our last quiz (as determined by random.org), who will receive the wonderful Orvis Fly-Tying Guide by Tom Rosenbauer, is Martin, who commented, “Too early Sunday morning! Need to go back to bed!! Or fishing!”

So post your score below (or below the post on our Facebook page!) for a chance to win a great book.

Good luck!
