Take Action to Ensure There’s Adequate Funding for Land and Water Conservation

Every year, Congress raises $900 million from the oil and gas industries, and those funds are supposed to go directly to land and water conservation. But did you know that the money almost never goes toward its intended purpose? In 39 of the past 40 years, Congress has failed to fully fund the Land & Water Conservation Fund, instead diverting the money to other uses. Let’s demand that Congress enforce a law that already exists for the good of our environment.
