Take an ALL-NEW Orvis Fly-Fishing Trivia Challenge 11.18.21

Welcome to another edition of our weekly trivia challenge, in which we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. Here’s another fun Trivia Challenge written by our new assistant blog editor, Evan Jones. This week, we’ve got 10 NEW questions about such topics as fishing records, famous angling Presidents, fish biology, and fly types.

The last quiz was tougher than I thought, and there were no perfect scores. However, four people missed just a single question. Golf claps for Dan Koshman, MarkT, Chadmon Householder, and Greg, who noted that he achieved that score with “almost all guesses.” Nine more players scored 80%, which was actually the most common score, too.

The winner of this week’s random drawing will receive a Brown Trout Rise Trucker Hat, which, which features a brim made with 100% recyled fishing nets, keeping our oceans cleaner. This is a new hat in our ever-changing collection of cool lids.

The winner of our last quiz (as determined by the random.org)–who also gets a sweet hat, is Gary, whose score was a half-empty/half-full kinda deal.

So post your score below (or below the post on our Facebook page!) for a chance to win a great video.

Good luck! (If the widget below isn’t working, CLICK HERE.)

  1. I am not good at these! If only one of the questions was “who invented the Golden Retriever fly”
(everyone knows its Tim Flagler. I’m JOKING, I’m JOKING!)
