Take an All-New Phil Monahan Fly-Fishing Trivia Challenge 02.13.14

Welcome to another edition of our trivia challenge, where we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we’re asking about the Latin species names of popular fly-rod quarry.

The scores on the last Trivia Challenge were pretty impressive, with nine 100%s and ten 90%s. It was a repeat, so perhaps that shows the educational value of these quizzes (I hope).

The randomly chosen winner of this week’s quiz will receive a super-cool, now-available Helios 2 Buff. The winner of our last quiz (as determined by random.org) was Dave Driscoll, who received a passing score.

So, take this week’s quiz, and no matter how well or poorly you do, post your score in the comments below to be eligible to win a cool Buff.

Good luck!

  1. 20%. Bah!
I studied Latin in college but we didn’t cover such useful topics as this one. We never talked about fish and fishing. Instead, we wasted our time reading Cicero and other useless literature in Latin.
