Welcome to another edition of our trivia challenge, where we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This one is just like last week: 20 all-new questions about well-known fly fishing rivers and lakes.
Warning: For each question, there is a best answer; just because there is another river with the same name somewhere else doesn’t mean it’s the correct answer.
The scores on the last quiz were lower than last week, with just two perfect scores: winstonand Doug Lyons. There were seven 95% scores, nine 90% scores, and the most common score was 50%.
Several folks took me to task for accidentally leaving out the word “the” in the question about the Fall River, which is in California. I would argue that there is, in fact, no waterway called “Fall River” in Massachusetts, so it would be strange for one answer to be a city (which is actually named for the falls of the Quequechan River). But if you want to give yourself 5 extra points for guessing “Massachusetts,” feel free.
The randomly chosen winner of this week’s quiz will receive a year’s subscription to Catch Magazine. Our last winner (as determined by random.org) was Thomas Freund, whose score is not publishable.
So, take this week’s quiz, and no matter how well or poorly you do, post your score in the comments below to be eligible to win!
Good luck!

Do you know where this river is?
