Welcome to the latest edition of our weekly trivia challenge, in which we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we’ve got ten all-new questions about native fish species, famous flies, angling quotations, and legendary saltwater locations. How many can you get (or guess) right?
The last quiz was another tough one, and there were no perfect scores (although Shoo-Fly got them all right with some research). Five of you missed just a single question–way to go, Amy, Michael, Dave Swartz, BRoss, and Jim Faber–and things went downhill quickly from there. The most common score did jump up one notch to 60%. I suspect that today’s quiz is more difficult than most, for which I apologize in advance.
The winner of this week’s random drawing will receive a Retro Mountain Bent Rod Hat, which features the iconic Orvis Bent Rod logo against a retro graphic mountainscape. This is a new hat in our ever-changing collection of cool lids.
