Take an All-New Phil Monahan Fly-Fishing Trivia Challenge 03.28.19

Welcome to an all-new edition of our weekly trivia challenge, in which we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we’ve got ten questions about fish records, species identification, and angling authors, more!

The last quiz was a bit tougher than the previous one, as just four people scored 100%. Give it up for Matthew, Randy Holbrook, tk118, and Alan Burrows (“two weeks running!” Another eleven missed just a single question, and the most common score dropped one spot to 70%.

The winner of this week’s random drawing will receive 25 Best Places: Fly Fishing for Pike, by Robert S. Tomes, from Stackpole Books. This where-to destination guide highlights the best pike fisheries in the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe–with particular emphasis on finding big pike, not hammer handles.

The winner of our last quiz, and recipient of Thomas Ames Jr.’s new book Caddisflies: A Guide to Eastern Species for Anglers and Other Naturalists, is Andrew. His score was worth an “ugh,” but he gets the book anyway.

So post your score below (or below the post on our Facebook page!) for a chance to win a great book.

Good luck!
