Take an All-New Phil Monahan Fly-Fishing Trivia Challenge 11.19.15

Welcome to another edition of our weekly (-ish) trivia challenge, in which we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, I’ve extracted 10 all-new questions from the recesses of my brain and from the depths of the Internets. . . .

On the last quiz, just two people achieved perfect scores—so give it up for Stephen Fitch and Joseph Bartholomew—and five readers scored 90%, which is slight step down from the previous quiz week. Jeremy R. did score a 100%, but he admitted that he considered the quiz “open book.” The most common score was 70%, which is pretty darned good, actually.

The randomly chosen winner for this quiz will receive a copy of the great book from our own Tom Rosenbauer, The Orvis Guide to Family-Friendly Fly Fishing.

Our last winner was Joe I, whose score was hardly something to cheer about, but he gets the book anyway.

So post your score below for a chance at winning Tom’s book. . .signed by the man hisself.

Good luck!

  1. 60% I knew that Brown Trout was the chromosome answer, but I just couldn’t make myself admit that fish are more highly evolved than fishermen.
