Take a Classic Phil Monahan Fly-Fishing Trivia Challenge 12.21.17

Welcome to another edition of our weekly trivia challenge, in which we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we serve up another great classic quiz that features questions about famous fly-fishing spots, famous fly tiers, and famous fly patterns.

The last quiz saw a doubling of perfect scores from the previous quiz, as two people– Bradw and Greg Francis–scored 100%. According to Greg, he had “never gotten better than 50% on these quizzes before.” An astonishing seventeen respondents missed perfection by just a single question, and the most common score jumped up one spot to 60%.

Streamers tied with Dragon Tails scored big with brown trout this fall.

The winner of this week’s random drawing will receive a five-pack of Mangum’s Dragon Tails from Orvis, an amazing new material that moves and undulates as it swims.

The winner of our last quiz (as determined by random.org), and recipient of a Woolly Bugger Selection, was Sig, who was in the “most popular” range.

So post your score below for a chance to win a great book.

Good luck!
